Geoff Carpentier:
Geoff Carpentier is a published author, expedition guide, environmental consultant.
Geoff is a local resident and columnist with The Standard, Geoff Carpentier has been recognized with a lifetime achievement award from the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority for being a dedicated environmental advocate with over 45 years of experience in conservation, particularly in bird studies.
Mr. Carpentier studied zoology at the University of Guelph, worked for the Ministry of the Environment, and is now an ecotour guide. Geoff has conducted ecotours to eighty counties covering all seven continents. His tours have included 35 to Antarctica and his book “Antarctica – First Journey” uncovers some of his adventures.

We offer a variety of opportunities to get involved, such as helping set up the tables and chairs, making coffee, leading an interest group, photographing, taking a position on our Management Team.
