Speaker is Gillian Wortley.
Gillian Wortley is the lead at a music-based health arts organization called Room 217 Foundation.
Their goal is to integrate music into care by producing and delivering purposely designed music care tools and training. Their emphasis is on empowering caregivers to enrich the care experience by using music in daily routines and practice. They provide an innovative approach to health and well-being called music care. Music care is inclusive, offering a variety of delivery domains and a means for both intercultural and intergenerational connection. Music care can be implemented by all caregivers regardless of musical ability. The intentional use of music humanizes care and deepens relationships.
