“The history of the Cowboy Boot.” Since their invention in the late nineteenth century, cowboy
boots have embodied contradiction. They have symbolized labor and leisure, freedom and
domination, tradition and reinvention. Whether worn in the saddle, on screen, or in the streets,
cowboy boots remain a cultural touchstone, embodying both tradition and transformation in a constantly changing world. We will be taking the GO downtown.
This year our Christmas Lunch will be at Wooden Sticks;
40 Elgin Park Dr., Uxbridge.
The cost is $75.00 all inclusive and arrival time is 11:30 a.m.
This year’s lunch will be served buffet-style, featuring a delicious variety to suit every taste. Enjoy a selection of fresh salads, seasonal vegetables, roast turkey, tender roast beef and pasta in a rich cream sauce. For dessert, indulge in an assortment of fresh fruit, pastries, dessert squares, and tarts — something sweet for everyone to enjoy!
During lunch, we’ll be drawing names for Survivor Wine — the one time you don’t want to hear your name called first!
