Aug 9 Justin Kerswill- Multi –Instrumentalist Justin plays jazz, East Indian, African, rock & Celtic with Guitar & Percussion loops. An exceptional entertainer

Ontario provincial Parks

The  Ontario government is making  it easier to explore provincial parks and  experience the benefits of  spending time in nature by offering free  day-use access on Friday, July 19.   This annual celebration is part of a  global movement to promote the incredible health benefits of getting  outside in nature.

The  Uxbridge Scottish Festival is a one day event packed  with many events  such as the Highland Dance Competition, a Scottish Dog  Breed  Exhibition, special performances by musicians, and of course lots  of  pipe bands.

A wonderful day to celebrate your Scottish heritage with family and friends.

Palmer Park Port Perry

Get  ready for a weekend filled with exceptional craft beverages,  delicious  food, and vibrant community spirit at the 2024 Scugog Beer  & Cider  Festival! Taking place on August 2 and 3 at Palmer Park in  Port Perry,  this festival promises an unforgettable experience for all  attendees. 

Saturday August 17th 2024, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday August 18th 2024, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Come  stroll through the beautifully wooded park.  Enjoy fabulous works, with  some of Ontario’s finest artists artisans / crafts people.  Talk with  the artists and watch as some will be demonstrating their talent.  Take  the children to the children’s play/art and performance area.  All this,  with FREE admission and parking.  This event is a fund raiser, and is  sponsored by the Uxbridge & District Lions Club.

We hope you will join us in 2024 to make our event one of the biggest art events of the season.

Check  out the amazing lineup of over 30 artists at this year’s Uxbridge Art  on the Fringe Festival plus great food from Gangster Cheese, and live  music in the Gazebo all day. Come out and enjoy the Museum Grounds and  the artists.
